BRILHO Services: Spring Cleaning Event 2019

June started in a very special way for us, at BRILHO Services. On the morning of June 1st, we gathered at the Sargeant Ryan Russel Park – Avenue Road and Dupont, to start our cleaning action throughout the neighbourhood. Together, we collected around 50 kilos of garbage – from cigarette butts to coffee cups and plastic bags.

Brilho Spring Cleaning Event 2019 was planned by our founder Luciano Motta, as a little retribution for everything Toronto has offered him and his employees so far. “Our cleaning event was just a give back to our community in Toronto,” explains Motta.

The event was supported by the Councilor Mike Layton (Ward 11) and counted on the work of more than 30 volunteers, among employees, associates, friends and community members.

“It was the first year of our action, but the idea is to promote it annually. We hope even more people can join us next year! It is very pleasant helping our community,” concludes Motta.
